MODULE 1 - PRANAYAMA
In this module you will learn up to six different Pranayama techniques and develop an understanding their benefits and application.
You will learn:
How to practice Pranayama
When to include Pranayama in your class planning
Develop the ability to lead your yoga class attendees safely through Pranayama practices.
Pranayama is breath control to harness lifeforce energy.
Prana = life force energy
Yama = control or restraint.

MODULE 2 - ASANA AND DHYANA PRACTICE
In this module you will experience two well structured and balanced yoga Asana sequence which you will practice daily. These will include Sun Salutations, at least 20 yoga Asanas, Mudra's, Bandhas and guided meditation.
You will learn through practice:
The importance of warm up and cool down.
Building to the peak pose.
Alignment queues.
Sanskrit names and English translation of the Asanas that have been chosen to be covered on the training.
Ability to observe and adjust postures safely.
Use of props.
Knowledge of posture benefits and contraindications.
Dhyana = Meditation, ability to still the mind whilst keenly aware.
Asana = the 'seat' of yoga, postures.

MODULE 3 - TEACHING METHODOLOGY
In this module you will learn how to become a yoga teacher including:
The principles of demonstration and adjustment
The special qualities of a yoga teacher
How to identify and work with different learning modalities
Effective communication styles
Class planning and management
The business side of running your own yoga classes
Delivering classes on Zoom

MODULE 4 - ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY
In this module you will learn how the human body works and the following systems:
Skin
Musculoskeletal
Respiratory
Cardiovascular
Digestive
Autonomic
The energetic body
Yoga anatomy

MODULE 5 - YOGA PHILOSOPHY, ETHICS AND LIFESTYLE
Yoga has an ancient history and fascinating philosophy which is as relevant to life today as it has ever been.
In this module, you will develop an understanding of the following:
Ethics of a yoga teacher
Analyse and explore Patanjali's 8 fold path
Bhagavad Gita and its relevance to life today
Chakras and the Kundalini System
Explore the meaning and practices of mantras and chanting, asanas, pranayama, mudras and bandhas.

MODULE 6 - TEACHING PRACTICE
In this module you will learn how to become a yoga teacher including:
The principles of demonstration and adjustment
The special qualities of a yoga teacher
How to identify and work with different learning modalities
Effective communication styles
Class planning and management
The business side of running your own yoga classes
Delivering classes on Zoom
YOGA TEACHER CERTIFICATION RYT200
Upon successful completion of this course you will be eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance.
Gaining an internationally recognised Yoga Teacher certification.

Upon successful completion and certification, as a new yoga teacher, you will be fully equipped with the skills to start your own yoga classes.
You will know how to:
Design and teach your own yoga classes
Pranayama breathing techniques
Asana practice
Meditation practice
